Happy New Year - 2024 from Melanin.in.Med

Happy New Year!

Read below to hear about what to expect in the new year with the Melanin.in.Med, LLC community!

Hi Reader - Happy New Year!!! I am so excited for what is in store in 2024! I reflected on my goals from 2023 here, and I will be sharing my 2024 goals and vision board on my YouTube channel on Sunday!

There are a few things I wanted to update you on as we move into the new year.

First, I will be launching The Journey: A Melanin.in.Med Newsletter soon. If you're receiving this email, you're already subscribed to all things Melanin.in.Med, so there's nothing to do on your end. I plan to release a newsletter biweekly, sharing a story from someone in medicine, MCAT or application advice, and more!

Second, if you're enrolled in either (or both) of my From Applicant to Accepted courses, make sure to join our Facebook group. You can connect with other applicants and accepted students and get your questions answered quicker (and more thoroughly) from me.

Until next time,

Hi, Reader, welcome to the new newsletter series, WEEKLY RECAP! This will come out weekly on Sunday, recapping my week, sharing any new resources, and answering your questions! My Week This was somehow the longest and shortest week ever. I finished my pediatrics rotation and took the shelf exam on Wednesday. That wraps up rotation 6 out of 7 for my core clerkship year. Check out my Week in the Life video to see what life on pediatrics was like! Because of the holiday, we got an extended...
