Hi Reader, I hope you're having a restful weekend! Let's dive into this week's updates and tips.

What's New With You?

The past two weeks have been busy, and life is only getting busier! I started a Culinary Medicine elective at the beginning of February. It's an interdisciplinary course with medical students and registered dietitian students. Twice a week, we cook new, healthier, plant-based meals. I am such a picky eater and stray away from trying new things, so it has been a great way to learn some new foods. So far, I've tried farro and barley!

Last weekend, my friends and I continued our hometown tour in Atlanta - it's where my roommate grew up and where my sister currently lives. We had the best time (see recap below)!

This holiday weekend, I took a day trip to Philly to visit a friend and had a sweet Valentine's Day dinner with some other friends. We did mini pizzas (with homemade herb crust and marinara sauce), salad, and sweet treats. The celebrations are not over yet as I'm co-hosting a Galentine's Day celebration tomorrow. I can't wait to tell y'all all about it next week!

Chat soon,

- Morgan :)

This week, I finalized the personalized applicant calendar for a student enrolled in my All-Inclusive Medical School Application Advising program and completed my first personal statement review for the 2026-2027 application cycle.

If you haven't already, make sure you download The Applicant Calendar, so you can stay up-to-date and plan in advance. If you're looking for more in-depth guidance, check out:

If you applied in the 2025-2026 cycle and have not received any interview invites or acceptances and want to prepare to reapply this year, just reply to this email, and I'll get you set up with my Reapplication Package.

For the next few weeks, I am focusing on preparing for The Match and my final requirements for medical school. The Med Student Corner will return in April. If you need anything in the meantime or have ideas for future series, just reply to this email or message me on Instagram!

Rank order lists are open on the NRMP website, and it is getting so real! I think I finally have my #1, #2, and the bottom of my list but I am still flipping back and forth every day on my #3 and #4. I've done a lot of chatting with current residents to ask random questions that have popped into my head and better understand the vibes and culture of every program. At this point, I think I just want to lock in my list and leave it to the algorithm?!

My social calendar was packed to the brim this week, which was unusual for me as an introvert who relies on my alone time to recharge. Monday, we hosted a Galentine's Day celebration with a pasta bar, lots of sweet treats, and trinket decorating. It was so fun getting my girls together and catching up! Tuesday, my friend hosted a Lunar New Year dinner. I learned how to make...

Hi Reader, I hope you're having a restful weekend and staying warm! Let's dive into this week's updates and tips. First day out after the snow. First stop? Starbucks! What's New With You? This week was very much an inside week because we got so much snow last weekend. I kept looking out my window, and the idea of tackling all of that snow (without snow boots) did not sit well with my soul. I finally ventured outside on Tuesday, and have been doing some mini hot girl walks and trying new...

To commemorate my last few months in the city, I made a NYC bucket list filled with some mundane activities and true "once-in-a-lifetime" experiences. This week, I checked TWO things off that list: 🎬 Attend a live show taping You can get free tickets for SO many NYC shows. I scored tickets to a live...
